Limbic
Where land meets sea, presence is always in motion. Limbic explores the margins — tidal flats, lighthouses, and structures shaped by salt and time.
This is not the edge. This is a place all its own.

Chapter One: Tide Line
Where Water Leaves Its Mark
At low tide, new ground is revealed. Reflective, temporary, quiet. Here, the lighthouse does not command but wait. The sea has stepped back, but it always returns.
This chapter begins on the west coast. Burnham, St Michael’s Mount, and other places shaped by the rhythms of withdrawal and return. Each frame captures the patient authority of the coastal margin.

Chapter Two: Black Water
Dramatic Sealine Coasts
Hartland, once named Promontorium Herculis by the Romans, embodies the raw drama of Britain’s western seaboard — where waves crash against fractured cliffs and weather sculpts the horizon.
This chapter explores coasts carved by force: dark waters, jagged headlands, and places where permanence feels precarious.
Black Water will expand as further work develops from these exposed, wave-lashed shores.
